When to arrive / how long to stay
The Montana Bale Trail event officially starts at 8am on Sunday, September 11th, 2016 but we hope you'll enjoy the whole weekend to see what Central Montana has to offer. If you can't make it on the weekend of the event, don't worry! The bales are kept up for a couple of weeks for the late-comers, and locals, to enjoy.
You will find great selections of delicious food along the Montana Bale Trail. Early birds can catch the Mason's Breakfast and the night owls can enjoy great Montanan bar food from the Oxen Yoke Inn in Utica, Tallboys Tavern in Hobson or Seven Day Weekend in Hobson. Lewistown also has a host of great eateries.
Gas & Diesel can be purchased at Eddies Corner, between Hobson and Lewistown, and the ByWay in Stanford (west of Hobson).
